An old black and white photo of David standing outsideAfter finishing two years of community college and graduating, David joined the US Army and went right into Special Forces training. He became a special forces medical sergeant. His job called for the rank of an E-7 and at the time he was an E-5 senior medic on an “A” team. He also “helped ” in Israel with the Israel defense force.

David is a 2nd degree black belt in Karate from Alex Wilkie’s martial arts in Bridgewater, NJ. He is also a weight lifter and competed at the University of Central Oklahoma, where they train disabled athletes from all branches of service to compete in the paralympics. David competed in the bench press despite having only one leg and without the use of a prosthetic.

David has been married for 20 years. He and his wife are best friends and both have a great sense of humor. He also spends his extra time talking to other people with amputations at the two hospitals near his home.
